My name is Krystin Holmes and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), and hold a national certification as a National Certified Counselor. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Master of Arts degree in 2013 with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and obtained my Ph.D. in Counselor Education in 2021. Since then, I have been dedicated to developing competent counselors-in-training, and promoting first responder wellness in our community.
My practice focuses on the overall wellness and success of each individual client. As a marriage and family therapist, I take a systemic approach to therapy that explores family history, dynamics, and patterns of interaction that are learned from our families of origin and continue in our daily lives. In addition to individual and couples counseling, I most commonly work with first responders, veterans, and professionals to help manage the stressors of a fast-paced, high stakes environment. I am passionate about helping people restore balance by working through the difficulties in their lives to find fulfillment, confidence, and peace. I wholeheartedly seek to understand my clients for the diverse individuals they are and promote awareness of self in relation to others. I seek to provide an atmosphere that is genuine, honest, and compassionate while challenging my clients to move towards healing. Outside of practice, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family. I am also a mother, step-mother, dog mom, and proud LEO wife. |

My name is Jonathon "Brook" Viningre and I am a current law enforcement officer pursuing my degree in clinical mental health counseling. As an officer with over 30 years of experience, I have gained valuable knowledge in navigating the first responder field. I have proudly served on the Peer Support Team for more than 20 years where I have assisted many first responders experiencing crisis and burnout due to stressors of the job. As a ranking supervisor, I am dedicated to developing other officers in the field while helping them to balance the demands of the job and home life. My passion is to help others and I believe my purpose is to serve those who have served, and continue to serve, alongside of me. I strive to create an environment that is supportive, encouraging, and grounded in the principles of compassion and patience.
I strongly advocate for the practice of self-care, and engage in mindfulness techniques as a method for managing stress. Throughout our time together, you can expect to feel heard, be seen, and feel validated. My hope is that you will find a renewed sense of passion and purpose in your life and realize a clear direction moving forward. In addition to therapeutic services, I also provide coaching and peer support development. Coaching may be right for you if you feel the need for guidance and support, but may not necessarily struggle with issues requiring clinical monitoring and intervention. These sessions are typically focused on developing healthier habits in the areas of career, relationships, and behaviors to improve your overall life journey. As a certified TCOLE instructor and Master Peace Officer, I have helped in the development and implementation of Peer Support Services for 20 years and I enjoy assisting departments in tailoring a program for their organization. |
My name is Reagan and I am a student at Lamar University pursuing my Master’s in Counseling and Development to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently work as a medic at a 911 service in my home county. I love to provide service and care for the citizens of my community.
Experiencing first hand the hardships that come with serving as a first responder, I have chosen to pursue a lifelong career in providing mental health services to first responders and their families. Those who work day in and day out to save others deserve to extend that grace to themselves, and I hope to create an environment to do just that. I have a passion to help individuals find their peace and understanding within their emotional vulnerabilities. I put an emphasis on helping families of first responders along side them because it is not a career that stays at the office. I wholeheartedly want to create an atmosphere to help people find harmony, passion, and autonomy within their internal and external relationships. When I’m not nose-deep in a text book or riding the ambulance, you can find me with my husband exploring the bays of the Texas coast. |
