"Every day first responders put their own lives on the line to ensure our safety. The least we can do is make sure they have the tools to protect and serve their communities." -Lieberman
Many people cannot comprehend the challenges faced by the first responder population. We provide a professional, confidential space so our clients can work through whatever situation has brought them into our office. In our years of experience, there is no simpler way to say that "we just get it." As spouses and first responder professionals, we understand shift-work, burnout, critical incidents, anger, irritability, and frustration that first responders and their families encounter every day. We understand the pressure to project one image on the outside while managing internal conflict and discord. No matter where you're at, whether you are a first responder or a spouse, our goal is to get real and gut-level honest so that we can process a situation together. Through our combined years of experience, we help you to develop an action plan that is tailored to your goals and objectives. As practitioners who have spent years researching, treating, and working with first responders and their families, we take a "no-BS" approach to our counseling style and infuse humor with straightforward honesty, as we have found that to be most effective in treatment.
Lastly, we would like to say "Thank You" to all of our current and former first responder clients and their families. Everyday our local LEOs, Fire, and EMTs face extraordinary challenges and without their contributions our world would be a more dangerous place. Because developing trust is a key component to my practice, we offer all of our first responder clients a "no-strings-attached" consultation so that you can decide if this is process is right for you.
